• Do not reuse mixed formula. Always serve new and fresh formula.
• Always check the temperature to avoid burning the crop.
• The crop should be examined before each feeding. Ideally, the crop should never be allowed to become completely empty.
• Checking the crop fullness will help determine the frequency and volume of feeding to be given.
• Normally, the crop will empty in 4 hours, if it remains full or is not emptying properly, it indicates illness.

FEEDING GUIDELINES
The most important considerations in the Hand feeding process are the frequency and volume of feeding. Baby birds grow at extraordinary rapid rate and that growth requires a great deal of food to meet the nutritional needs of the baby bird. However, the crop of a young bird holds a limited amount of food, so it must be filled frequently. As baby birds growing, the capacity of the crop increases and the number of daily feeding time will be reduced. The volume to be feed is based upon a combination of observation and judgement.

PREPARATION OF NUTRIZION LARGE
• Make Sure the Mixing bowl, feeding instruments and other necessary things are thoroughly clean and disinfected.
• Mix the Nutrizion Large formula with clean boiled water.
• Allow prepared mixture to stand three to five minutes to absorb the water to make desired consistency.
• Ideal mixture proportion will depend on the weight, age, species of the bird and health condition.
• Ratio of the water and the formula can be added according to our ratio chart or as recommended by avian vet or avian expert.
• For young bird start with a thin solution and thicken as the bird gets older.
• Feed when the crop is almost empty or full empty.
• Make fresh formula for each feeding.
• Do not mix Nutrizion with other brand formula.
